Welcome to Colecta Games. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of colectagames.com and our games, including Cards Against Humanity, Blank Slate, and Wavelength (together, the "Services"). By using the Services, you agree to these Terms.

1. Who we are

The Services are operated by Colecta Games ("Colecta Games," "we," "us," or "our"), based in Durham, North Carolina, USA. You can reach us any time at hello@colectagames.com.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Services. Some games contain mature humor and language and are intended for adult audiences; where a game states an age requirement, you agree you meet it. If you are using the Services on behalf of others, you are responsible for their conduct under these Terms.

3. Using the Services

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and play our games for your own entertainment. In exchange, you agree not to:

• Cheat, exploit bugs, or interfere with the normal operation of a game or its servers;
• Reverse engineer, copy, resell, or redistribute the Services or their content;
• Harass other players or submit unlawful, hateful, or infringing content;
• Access the Services through automated means or attempt to disrupt other players' experience.

We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or use the Services in a way that harms others.

4. Player-submitted content

Some games let you write, submit, or vote on content. You are responsible for what you submit and confirm you have the right to share it. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host and display that content solely to operate the game. We may remove content that violates these Terms.

5. Purchases and payments

Some features, games, or content may be offered for purchase. Payments are processed securely by our payment provider, Stripe, Inc. We do not store your full card details. By making a purchase you agree to Stripe's terms in addition to ours. Unless required by law or expressly stated at the time of sale, purchases are non-refundable. Prices and offerings may change at any time.

6. Intellectual property

Except for content you submit, all software, artwork, text, and other materials that make up the Services are owned by Colecta Games or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. Product names referenced within the Services may be trademarks of their respective owners; nothing here grants you a license to use them.

7. Third-party links

The Services link to our individual game sites and may link to other third-party services. We are not responsible for the content or practices of sites we do not operate.

8. Disclaimers

The Services are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Colecta Games will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Services. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Services will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or fifty U.S. dollars ($50).

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Services after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Durham County, North Carolina, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
